Ministry Teams
Our Ministry Teams are structured to glorify God and achieve our Vision. They provide the opportunity for every part of the body of Christ to be involved in glorifying God.
Church Family Life: The purpose of the Church Family Life Ministry Team is to plan and manage all Church activities that minister to the Church family as a collective unit or one-on-one ministries, such as meals for the bereaved or sick. The team shall also support the fellowship of the congregants through managing coffee fellowship, fellowship meals, special meals, church decorations, and other social gatherings.
Discipleship: The purpose of the Discipleship Ministry Team is to plan and manage all Congregation spiritual growth activities outside of the Worship Services.
Evangelism & Outreach: The purpose of the Evangelism and Outreach Ministry Team is to plan and manage all Church activities that serve people outside our Congregation, but in the tri-county area.
Facility Improvements: The purpose of the Facility Improvements Ministry Team is to plan, recommend and manage all proposed improvements to the buildings and grounds of Scots Kirk to enhance and support the ministries of the Church.
Missions: The purpose of the Missions Ministry Team is to plan and manage all Church activities that support functions outside of our local area, such as World Witness.
Worship: The purpose of the Worship Ministry Team is to plan, manage and improve the Worship Services of the Church.
